Half-Wet Material Crusher

The half-wet material crusher is a crushing equipment specifically designed for organic materials with high moisture content and a certain degree of viscosity. It solves the problems of clogging, sticking to the walls, and screen clogging that traditional crushers easily encounter when processing wet materials. It can efficiently crush semi-wet materials such as fermented livestock manure, sludge, and straw. This equipment plays a crucial role in organic fertilizer production lines, breaking up fermented and agglomerated materials to the fineness required for granulation, providing qualified powder for subsequent processes.

Working Principle

After the material enters the crushing chamber through the feed inlet, it is thrown against the chamber wall by the centrifugal force generated by the high-speed rotating rotor. The crushing blades or hammers installed on the rotor perform high-speed shearing, impact, and grinding on the material. The crushed material is discharged through the bottom screen under the airflow. Material that does not meet the fineness requirements is retained by the screen for further crushing until the particle size is qualified. The equipment has a self-cleaning structure, preventing wet material from adhering and accumulating.

Equipment Composition

Casing and Grinding Chamber: Welded steel plate structure with replaceable wear-resistant liners on the inner wall. The separate upper and lower sections facilitate maintenance.

Rotor Assembly: The main shaft is equipped with multi-layered grinding blades or hammers made of wear-resistant alloy material, which can be replaced individually.

Screening Device: A semi-circular perforated screen plate is installed at the bottom of the grinding chamber. The aperture is interchangeable to adjust the output fineness.

Transmission System: The motor drives the main shaft to rotate via a belt or coupling, ensuring smooth and reliable transmission.

Frame Base: Welded steel structure supporting the entire machine and absorbing operating vibrations.

Performance Characteristics

Suitable for High Moisture Materials: Excellent grinding effect on semi-wet materials with a moisture content below 35%, and less prone to clogging.

Adjustable Output Fineness: The fineness of the finished product can be adjusted by changing the screen aperture to meet different process requirements.

Strong Self-Cleaning Ability: The grinding components automatically remove adhering materials during operation, preventing clogging during continuous operation.

High Grinding Efficiency: The blades are rationally arranged, resulting in short material residence time in the chamber and low unit power consumption.

Easy Maintenance: The grinding blades are independent units; each worn component can be replaced individually without requiring overall disassembly and repair.
