Proper Operation and Maintenance of Fertilizer Mixers in NPK Fertilizer Production Lines

The fertilizer mixer is a key piece of equipment in the NPK fertilizer production line, ensuring uniform mixing of raw materials and the even distribution of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, and trace elements. Proper operation and maintenance are crucial for ensuring uniform fertilizer nutrient content.

Key Points for Proper Operation: Before starting the machine, check that the mixing blades are intact and securely fixed, that there are no foreign objects inside the equipment, and that the discharge valve is tightly closed. Add raw materials according to the formula ratio. After adding the raw materials, close the feed inlet and start the mixer. Control the mixing time to 5-10 minutes to ensure uniform mixing. During operation, observe the operating status of the fertilizer mixer. If abnormal noises or blade jamming occur, stop the machine immediately for troubleshooting. Forced operation is strictly prohibited. After mixing is complete, open the discharge valve and wait for all material to be discharged before shutting down the equipment and cleaning any remaining material inside.

Post-Operation Maintenance Tips: After each use, thoroughly clean the inner wall of the mixing drum and the blades to prevent material from clumping and sticking together. Check the wear of the mixing blades weekly. If the blades are deformed or severely worn, adjust or replace them promptly. Regularly check the lubrication of bearings and reducers, add lubricating oil, and ensure smooth operation. Tighten all connecting parts of the equipment monthly, troubleshoot electrical faults, and conduct a comprehensive overhaul of the equipment quarterly to ensure the long-term stable operation of the fertilizer mixer and guarantee the uniformity of raw material mixing.
