Cage Crusher

Cage crushers are specifically designed for fine crushing and return of materials in organic fertilizer and compound fertilizer production lines, serving as a crucial piece of equipment in the closed-loop material circulation system. Large particles, substandard finished products, and fertilizer caking during storage, all screened out on the production line, must be crushed again by the cage crusher before returning to the granulation section. The double-layer cage structure’s efficiency advantage in fine crushing makes it the mainstream configuration for return crushing sections in fertilizer production, providing key support for overall material circulation and cost control.

Crushing Process

The crushing process in the production line using the cage crusher is an online closed-loop circulation method. After the screening machine grades the finished granules, large pieces and non-compliant products are directly fed into the cage crusher via chutes or conveyors. The crushed fine material is then sent back to the granulator feed hopper by an elevator, mixed with fresh raw materials, and re-enter the granulator for granulation. The entire crushing and return process is completed automatically online, eliminating the need for manual handling. For return systems shared by multiple granulation lines, a single cage crusher can be centrally located for unified processing, simplifying the process configuration.

Process Advantages

Strong crushing capacity, uniform particle size after return material crushing, does not affect pellet quality when mixed with new material for granulation.

Online closed-loop circulation, material automatically returns to granulation, reducing manual labor and transfer links.

High processing speed, short material residence time in the machine, no accumulation, no clogging.

Open double-cage structure, suitable for semi-wet return materials, wide process adaptability.

Large single-machine processing capacity, can serve the return material crushing needs of multiple granulation lines.

Applicable Scenarios

Organic fertilizer production line return section: fine crushing and reuse of large pieces and non-compliant finished products after screening.

Compound fertilizer production line return section: crushing and reprocessing of materials on the screen of various formula products.

Bio-organic fertilizer return processing: room temperature crushing of unqualified finished products, retaining residual active bacteria.

Fertilizer storage agglomeration treatment: crushing and repackaging or returning agglomerated fertilizer in the finished product warehouse.

Multi-line shared return system: multiple granulation lines centrally set up with one cage crusher to uniformly process return materials.

Organic fertilizer powder fine crushing: secondary crushing processing of some organic fertilizer powders that require further refinement.
