Five double roller press granulators shipped to Malaysia

Our company recently completed a special pre-shipment inspection for five double roller press granulators: a verification of component interchangeability. Key components—such as the extrusion roller assemblies, bearing housings, and feeder hoppers—were randomly swapped and installed across the units. All machines successfully passed no-load test runs, confirming full interchangeability within the batch. The equipment was then restored to its original configuration, packed, and shipped to Malaysia.

This interchangeability verification was conducted at the client’s request. With limited on-site maintenance personnel, the client wanted the wear parts and core components of the five machines to be interchangeable, thereby reducing the burden of spare parts inventory. After final assembly, the production department removed the extrusion roller assemblies, shuffled them, and randomly installed them onto different machine bodies. Each unit then underwent low-speed operational testing to check roller gap uniformity and bearing temperature rise; all five machines passed on the first attempt. Similar interchangeability tests were performed on the bearing housings and feeder hoppers, with all mounting hole precision meeting specifications.

Following the verification, the five machines were restored to their original unit configurations, and matching marks were engraved on the mating surfaces to ensure interchangeability while facilitating traceability. Consequently, the accompanying spare parts could be streamlined to universal types: five sets of spare roller shells, two sets of bearing housings, and one set of feeder liners were sufficient to cover all five machines.

The five machines and their accessories were packed into two high-cube containers, arranged according to their unit serial numbers. Accompanying documentation included interchangeability verification records, a list of interchangeable parts, and torque parameters, provided in both Chinese and English.
