Double shaft paddle mixer and screw conveyor: Accessory packaging managed on a “Per-Machine, Per-Manifest” basis

A custom double shaft paddle mixer and its accompanying fertilizer screw conveyor, destined for Malaysia, have been prepared for shipment. The accessories for each unit were packed separately, with each machine assigned its own distinct packing list to facilitate easy distribution upon arrival at the customer’s site.

The accessories include drive belts, paddle-fastening bolts, bottom sealing strips, and bearing housing oil seals for the mixer; as well as spare flighting (helical blades), coupling inserts, bearings, and inspection port gaskets for the screw conveyor. All components were packed into two wooden crates, each clearly labeled—”Mixer Accessories” and “Conveyor Accessories”—and marked with a QR code. Wear parts were provided with a 15% surplus (as per the contract), packed in separate bags, and marked with yellow labels. Bolts were sorted by specification into individual bags, with the quantity noted on each. Sealing strips and oil seals were placed in moisture-proof bags and tucked into the gaps within the crates, with foam padding used to fill any remaining space.

Before the crates were sealed, representatives from the warehouse, quality inspection, and foreign trade departments verified every item against the packing lists to ensure that quantities and specifications matched the contract requirements. Once confirmed, the crates were signed off and sealed. During container loading, the two accessory crates were placed into the available space within the container and secured to the floor anchor points using lashing straps; honeycomb cardboard was inserted between the crates to prevent collisions. Documentation included with the shipment—provided in both Chinese and English—consists of operation manuals, installation drawings, parts lists, and packing lists for both the mixer and the screws conveyor. The main equipment and the accessory crates have now been loaded into the container, cleared through customs, and are en route to Malaysia.
