A shipment comprising horizontal fermentation tanks, flat die pelleting machines, and associated accessories has been successfully loaded into containers and handed over to the freight forwarder for dispatch. The shipment includes the main units and various accessories; these were disassembled for containerization to ensure stability during long-distance ocean transport.
Unlike standard batch orders, this shipment required special pre-assembly and disassembly before leaving the factory due to constraints regarding the dimensions of the client’s workshop entrance. The fermentation tank bodies and agitator shafts underwent a trial assembly at the factory to verify interface precision before being disassembled and packed separately. Components such as the die plates and roller assemblies of the flat die pelleting machines were match-marked, ensuring the client can assemble them on-site by matching the numbers without the need for further sorting. Each main unit bears a weather-resistant plastic tag displaying the equipment serial number, gross weight, and lifting points to facilitate inventory checks and hoisting upon arrival.
For accessory packaging, we implemented a “one-item-one-code” system. After categorizing items—such as gearboxes, motors, die plates, cutting tools, and seals—into boxes, we generated QR codes for the packing lists; scanning these codes allows for the immediate viewing of contents and their corresponding equipment locations. A 10% surplus of wear parts and fasteners was included as per the contract; these were packed separately and marked with yellow labels for easy identification. Electrical components were vacuum-sealed in moisture-proof aluminum foil bags, and the interiors of the wooden crates were lined with waterproof plastic to withstand the high-humidity marine environment.
Following container loading, quality control and foreign trade personnel conducted a joint inspection to verify container seal numbers, container counts, and center-of-gravity markings, while also documenting the process with photographs. Accompanying documentation includes packing lists (in both Chinese and English), installation drawings, test-run records, and links to remote acceptance videos, enabling the client to familiarize themselves with key installation procedures before the equipment arrives.
